About Villa Matia Resort

Located at the heart of the historic Upper Town region of Alba, the Alba Carolina Fortress built in Vauban style, in stelar shape, comprising seven bastions offers a great insight into Romanian history along centuries.

Villa Matia Resort is a comfortable place to enjoy your journey in the medieval town of Alba Iulia. We are located close to the 3^rd Gate, in a quiet, yet central spot. The house was built in 1946 in Brancovenesc style and was being newly renovated to ensure the comfort and delight of our guests. As accomodation options Vila Matia Resort provides 2 Single rooms, 4 Double rooms and a Triple room, each fully equiped to ensure a pleasant stay.
